PLATELET RICH PLASMA: PRP
Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) is a regenerative injectable solution made by a person’s own blood. The regenerative technique involves injection of a high concentration of platelets which activates growth factors, stimulates healing of damaged tissue, rejuvenates skin, stimulates hair regrowth, and more.
Where is it used?
FACE:
PRP can be added to a Microneedling treatment or can be directly injected to target specific areas. When used with Microneedling, we call it our “Vampire Facial”. PRP is a great treatment for a variety of skin issues including acne, acne scarring, melasma, fine lines and wrinkles. PRP is wonderful for overall skin improvement and maintenance.
SCALP:
When used on the scalp, it triggers natural hair growth, thickens the hair shaft, and can even decrease the rate of hair loss.
BREASTS:
We also offer this service on breasts to soften and reduce appearance of stretch marks, tighten laxity of skin, and plump your cleavage line. We call this the “Vampire Breast Lift”.
JOINTS:
PRP can also be injected into large joints to assist with issues associated with osteoarthritis. It’s aim is to reduce pain, improve joint function, and possibly slow, halt, or even repair damage to cartilage.
