MEET OUR FOUNDER
Dr. Gentiana Bakaj, MD, originally hails from Albania, where she was born and raised. She earned a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics from the University of Tirana’s Faculty of Natural Sciences before immigrating to the United States with her family in 1994. Her passion for medicine led her to St. George’s University School of Medicine, where she graduated in 2007, earning a spot on the Dean’s List for her academic excellence.
Dr. Bakaj completed her medical training at East Carolina University/Brody School of Medicine (ECU/BSOM), where she honed her skills and later served as an Assistant Medical Professor in the Internal Medicine program for three years. During her time at ECU/BSOM, she contributed to numerous research projects, many of which have been published in esteemed medical journals.
In July 2013, Dr. Bakaj established her medical practice in Victoria, Texas, where she dedicated herself to serving the community for over a decade. Recently, to be closer to her family, she relocated her practice to Prosper, Texas. Dr. Bakaj continues to bring her expertise, compassion, and commitment to patient care to this vibrant and growing community.
